Being in a relationship can be extremely hard, though successful relationships are often incredibly rewarding when they work.
I love seeing couples, whether couples who are seeking to examine their values and priorities before marriage (i.e., pre-marital counseling), couples who are aching to stay together but struggling to communciate effectively, and couples who are navigating truly difficult life events (e.g., child loss, infertility, infidelity).
When I work with couples, I am the couselor of the relationship, not of either individual. That means my job is assess what is and is not working in the relationship. I am not here to take sides but to help you understand each other and how you each influence health of the relationship.
Grief and loss (including infertility)
Long-distance relationships
I see couples either in person on Mount Seqoyah or via telehealth (i.e., online therapy). At this time, I do not accept insurance. Rates are $160 for couples sessions.
Although I reside in Arkansas, I am PSYPACT accredited (Mobility #13896). PSYPACT is an interstate agreement among states which allows for telehealth across state lines. Practically speaking, this means I can work with you via telehealth if you live in **any** PSYPACT state: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, DC, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Minneosta, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming; see map here: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap).
Each member of the couple must be in one of the PSYPACT states but couples *can* be long-distance and join the telehealth session separately.
